The process group of a child process can be controlled by setting the group slot of a process tuple:
+same-group+
+new-group+
+new-session+

The default value is +same-group+, which denotes that the child process should be part of the process group of the parent process. The +new-group+ option creates a new process group, while the +new-session+ creates a new session.
